With this tool you can
create 3 different sizes of eyes for your jewelry. This
tool is designed for 20 gauge wire. You can also use it with our
EZ Earring if you want to make larger eyes. The eye pin making tool comes
with 3 winders, 3 dowels and instruction sheet.

Medium-1/8" ID
Large-3/16" ID
On one side you can make
offset eyes, meaning the eye is centered on the wire. The other
side can be used to create bead links and wrapped eyes.
|
|

Step 1. Cut a length of wire, the length depends on
what you are making, or take a pre-made ear wire and
line it up with the indicator line.
|

Step 2. Bend the wire as shown. Skip this step if
using a pre-made ear wire.
|

Step 3. Make the eye using the winder, twisting in a
clockwise direction.
|

Step 4. If you are adding beads, place the beads on
your wire, then you will need to use the opposite
side of the tool. Place your beads next to the tool,
and cut the wire at the indicator line.
|

Step 5. Make the eye using the winder twisting
clockwise.
|

Step 6. To offset the eye, give it a little tweak
against the stationary dowel. Pull the link off of the
dowel and using round nosed pliers finish closing
the eye.
|
|

Step 1. To make a wrapped eye, cut a very long length of
wire. Place it on the tool as shown with your eye
choice. You may have to bend the wire over the other
stationary dowels.
|

Step 2. Make the eye using the winder like before, letting
the extra wire overlap.
|

Step 3. Move the dowel and eye to the opposite side, the
bead side. Turn the eye over so that the overlapping
wire is on the bottom. Then you can wrap your wire
around. You can also take the eye off of the tool
and using chain nosed pliers hold the eye and wrap
the wire. Add beads, then repeat with the other
side.
