The mini pliers are cheaper, but for daily
use, I think you'll be happier with the quality and feel of
the regular pliers. The mini pliers are used for travel
because of their compact size. The regular ones are more
comfortable in your hand, unless you're really petite. I suggest
you order the mini pliers only as a back up or for travel. In
the photo above you will see that the mini pliers is operated
more with your fingers alone whereas a normal size pliers seats
in your palm, giving you a better grip.
