Flat Nose Pliers
This is the one with the square nose. Great for holding things. Use this one to hold a jump ring in your left hand while using a pointy chain nose in your right hand to open the ring.  If you're make a coiled wrap around a fine headpin, the flat nose holds the head pin's loop while the chain nose holds the end of the wire and wraps it around the neck.
